  • Education Qualification & Experience - Candidates should have a Graduate degree in any discipline, knowledge of basic accounts & good communication skills. Senior Lecturer in Politics/Contemporary History
Salary Grade 12 Salary range: £33,230 to £44,607 per annum  

The Department of History is a thriving and successful academic community.  It consistently achieves outstanding results in the National Student Satisfaction Survey and is regularly ranked in the top 30 departments in the UK (The Guardian); the University is ranked as one of the top modern universities.  The Department’s team is composed of active researchers who made a creditable contribution to the RAE 2008.

The Senior Lectureship is in Politics/Contemporary History (post 1945) and represents the first staffing for a new degree titled BA Hons Politics and Contemporary History that will start to recruit students through late 2012-13 and 2013-14.  It is expected that the post holder will work with the Head of Department to ensure validation of this degree before its first running in September 2013.

The post holder may research on any sub specialisms including Political extremism, Governance, British, European Politics or American Politics or interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary history.

We are looking for a high quality teacher and researcher who will be keen to assist in the shaping of this new degree programme and contribute to a culture of excellence in the management of student experience.

3. not be above 35 years of age at the time of applying.

4. be a full-time Ph.D. Scholar.

5. have valid GATE /NET score.

Union Bank of India will organize a recruitment process in order to select the most appropriate and eligible candidates for the position of the Specialist Officers in the Union Bank of India. The total number of vacancies available for the following post is 349. The notification is for all the kinds of the reserved and unreserved categories of the society. There are different numbers of categories available for the position of the specialist officers such as Assistant General Manager, Chief Manager, Senior Manager, and Credit Officers, Printing technologist, Security officer, Company secretary and Economist. Eighth International Conference on Interdisciplinary Social Sciences 2013








The International Conference on Interdisciplinary Social Sciences examines the nature of disciplinary practices, and the interdisciplinary practices that arise in the context of ‘real world’ applications. It also interrogates what constitutes ‘science’ in a social context, and the connections between the social and other sciences. The focus of papers ranges from the finely grained and empirical(research practices and results exemplifying one or more disciplines), to wide-ranging multi-disciplinary and transdisciplinary practices, to perspectives on knowledge and method.
We are inviting proposals for paper presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, posters/exhibits, or colloquia.  For more information about the ideas and themes underlying this community. Proposal ideas that extend beyond these thematic areas will also be considered.
